At Howard University, Khaleemah Rashid-Miggins is pursuing a degree in criminology with a minor in legal communications. She recently earned an Associate in Science (AS-T) for Transfer, Administration of Justice, and an Associates in Arts, Liberal Studies, both from Solano Community College.She has substantial experience volunteering in politics and the public sector with local and county elected officials. She is hoping to gain firsthand experience in the courtroom, professional opportunities and personal growth. Her interest in the criminal justice system stems from her advocacy work for prisoner reform and juvenile delinquency. She intends to keep developing her abilities as she works toward her goal of becoming an attorney.
