Mia Kimm is an undergraduate sophomore at American University and is planning to double major in Journalism and Justice and Law. She chose to intern with D.C. Witness due to their commitment to bringing transparency to the criminal justice system through data journalism. Furthermore, she hopes to pursue a career involving the intersection of news media and the criminal justice system.
