Sofia Marcus is an undergraduate student from Boca Raton, Florida studying at American University. She is studying Journalism and Justice, Law, and Criminology. After graduating, she plans to pursue a career in investigative reporting and, specifically, hopes to report about crime and crime-related topics. Sofia chose to intern at D.C. Witness as a way to learn more about the court systems as well as techniques to advance her reporting and investigation skills.
