Sophie Griggs is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at George Washington University. She is a pre-law senior at George Washington University double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She joined D.C. Witness to gain experience in a courtroom setting, to learn more about journalism and the criminal justice system, and help bring transparency to the crime in DC.
