Varshana Ramnarine is a second-year student at Montgomery College majoring in Criminal Justice. She is interested in human rights and, through her experience at DC Witness, aims to gain an understanding of how systemic issues influence the definitions of transparency and accountability. Varshana plans to transfer to the University of Maryland or John Jay College to continue her undergraduate degree.
