Police say 37-year-old Willie Glover has been charged with first-degree felony murder while armed on Jan. 5.
Glover was found on a street with stab wounds on Dec. 1, and was later charged with the murder of Lenard Wills. Wills, 50, was found at 8:21 p.m. with stab wounds the same night. A third victim was also treated for injuries the same night, however, Wills died from his injuries.
Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Joseph Andre Robinson.
Robinson, of Southeast, was found unconscious and unresponsive from a gunshot wound at 9:28 p.m. on Jan. 8 in the 3700 block of Hayes Street, NE. Robinson was transported to a hospital where he then died.
A 21-year-old man was shot near 32nd Place SW at 5:45 p.m., Jan. 10.
Sergio Verastegui from Springfield, VA, was identified as the victim.
Police say he was unconscious and unresponsive when DC Fire and Emergency services arrived.
Police have not identified any suspects.
Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 21-year-old Kevin DeAndre Wallace.
Wallace, of Northeast, was found with multiple gunshot wounds at around 10:30 on November 17 in the 1600 block of New York Ave, NE. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
Police say 64-year-old Clarence M. Terry was fatally stabbed November 18.
Police found Terry, of Southeast, unconscious and unresponsive in the 2500 block of Park Place, SE, at around 9:15 a.m.
Police have arrested a man for allegedly fatally shooting 24-year-old Dwayne Grandson.
Grandson was found with gunshot wounds in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Ave, SE on the night of November 23.
Clifton Johnson, 25, was found in the 2500 block of Minnesota Ave, SE also suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital where Grandson died. The second victim, Johnson, was later charged with first-degree murder while armed for Grandson’s death.
Police are investigating after a man died from gunshot wounds in the 5200 block of C Street, SE.
According to police, 46-year-old Sean Dillard was found unconscious and unresponsive December 4 at around 10:20 a.m.
Police say 20-year-old Kwaza K. Blue of Southwest was fatally shot the night of December 5.
Blue was found in the 1300 block of First Street, SW at around 9:50 p.m. after police in the area heard gunshots. Blue was taken to the hospital where he died.
Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 31-year-old Kevin Dennis Prater.
Prater was found December 28 at around 8:20 p.m. in the 1000 block of Savannah Street, SE with fatal gunshot wounds.
Police say 23-year-old Michael Tyrone Jones, Jr. was fatally shot December 9.
Jones, of Southeast, was found at around 1:40 p.m. in the 3500 block of East Capitol Street with gunshot wounds. Jones died on the scene.
A man shot in 2006 has died from his injuries, and his death was ruled a homicide.
According to police, 25-year-old Gary Brown was hospitalized due to complications stemming from a shooting on November 13, 2006 in the 1900 block of 18th Street, SE. Brown was one of three men shot that evening, around 9:30 p.m.
Brown died on November 24, and his death was ruled a homicide.
Police have charged 35-year-old Daniel Scott with murder for the alleged murder of James Neal, 54.
According to police, Neal was found in the unit block of M Street, SE, suffering from a stab wound on November 21 a little before 8 p.m. Neal was taken to the hospital, and police arrested Scott an hour later. Neal died the following day, and police charged Scott with first-degree murder while armed.
Police say a man stabbed in 2004 has died from injuries related to that stabbing, and his death has been ruled a homicide.
According to police, Darren N. McManus of Northwest was stabbed on June 4 in the 4700 block of Sherriff Road, NE. McManus was hospitalized and released at the time, but was readmitted in April of this year. McManus died on May 8 and autopsy results show he died from complications of stab wounds to the chest from the 2004 stabbing.
Police are still investigating.
Police say 19-year-old Kevontae Jones was fatally shot in the early hours of November 19.
Jones, of Southeast, was found in the 100 block of Danbury Street, SW with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital and died.
Police are investigating the shooting death of 34-year-old Darnell Antonio Mayfield.
According to police, Mayfield was found with gunshot wounds on December 28 at around 5:40 p.m. Mayfield, of Southeast, was transported from the 2300 block of Hartford Street, SE and taken to the hospital where he died.
