Murder Defendant Requests New Counsel, Postpones Trial

Prosecutor Announces Presence of DNA Evidence in Murder Case

With the presence of DNA evidence in a murder case, a prosecutor suggested June 2 that another hearing was needed to discuss test results and decide on next steps.  Roger Hector Hamilton, 38, is charged with second-degree murder, driving under the influence of alcohol or a drug, and reckless driving for his alleged involvement in the death of 42-year-old Vincent Childs.
